Welcome!
Hi, I’m Melanie — a Renewal Coach and the founder of Grace and Recover.
Have you grown weary of carrying old patterns, pain, and pressures on your own?
Are you longing for more peace, connection, and purpose?
If so, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Intensive programs can be helpful, but they don’t always fit into real life. Juggling work, family, and responsibilities often makes them hard to sustain. The truth is, rising again from life’s difficulties is never easy, and trying to do it alone can feel just as overwhelming as committing to something intensive. That’s where I come in. I walk with you as you bring renewal into your everyday life, offering clarity, practical guidance, and steady support.
Here’s a deeper truth: healing isn’t only about leaving something behind, it’s about becoming someone new. The struggles you’ve faced have changed you. They’ve given you perspective, strength, and skills you may not even see yet. But stepping into that “new normal” can feel messy, uncertain, and hard to navigate. This is where grace matters. Grace and self-compassion open the doorway to an identity rooted in freedom, strength, and trust.
I am not here to lecture or hand you another checklist. I am here to listen, reflect, and walk beside you with accountability and encouragement. Whether you are navigating unfamiliar emotions, rebuilding relationships, or seeking to reconnect with your faith, I will help you recover the truest version of you.
Grace restores.
Recovery is renewal.
Bring your courage. Bring your questions. Bring your doubts. Together, we’ll find what renewal looks like for you.
Renewal Coach, Companion, and Celebrator of progress
Growing up in the Colorado countryside, I had space to dream. My imagination stretched as far as the horizon, and I spent my childhood exploring, writing, and believing life would always feel that free.
Adulthood was less predictable. I faced setbacks, uncertainty, and a decade-long identity crisis that challenged everything I thought I knew about myself. Somewhere in the middle of the chaos, I realized waiting for clarity was useless. I had to heal while still stumbling.
I knew I had to move forward even when the path looked like it had been designed by an indecisive toddler with a crayon.
Life didn’t make it easy. Waves of setbacks, a mysterious illness, and a series of “Why, God, why?” moments tested me in ways I hadn’t anticipated.
Radical self-compassion, self-exploration, and a whole lotta faith helped me break free from limiting beliefs and reclaim my identity.
And then…
Through research, reflection, and a lot of trial and error, I discovered something life-changing: healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about returning to yourself. It’s about uncovering the person you were always meant to be: whole, worthy, and deeply connected to yourself, others, and the life meant for you.
I believe we’re all recovering from something: the losses, the disappointments, the wounds, and unexpected plot twists. Too often, pain plays out in our relationships, causing us to disconnect, armor up, or reenact old patterns without even realizing it. But no matter the past, there is hope to rewrite the script, stop performing, and reclaim a life of gratitude and empowerment.

We’re all recovering from something: an addiction, a heartbreak, a crisis, or a detour we never saw coming. ReCover is an invitation to see yourself through a brighter lens meant to magnify your resilience, courage, and uniqueness. It’s learning to wrap yourself in the grace and goodness of God, while letting your growth be a light for you, for your people, for the world.
Celebration
Desiring more abundance in life? Embrace the lost art of Celebration. More than being amused or entertained, celebration requires active participation. When faced with anxiety, fear, and overwhelm, celebration reminds us of our power to choose. Our moments of joy invite connection and gratitude while also reminding the mind/body/spirit of deeper meaning and purpose.
